Southern California N900 users???
 

hello and im sure this is a long shot but.........

Would anyone be willing to meet me in a very public place and teach me hot to input things into my N900. My wife got me this phone for V-Day and i cant use it as i wish. I want to learn how to do the following things......

overclock my N900 ( i know the risk)
how to connect a ps3 controller to my N900
just input commands into my phone

I just need help with a few steps and i am sure i can figure out the rest. I have tried... man have i tried but with no luck. I am in the San Gabriel Valley (walnut/diamond bar area) maybe we can meet at a starbucks or a food court...lunch is on me.

man or woman.. i dont care, just teach me to use my phone a little bit. Not trying to break rules just cant figure it out

SoCal is a big place. I'd be willing to go to the 4th Street Promenade in Santa Monica sometime.

I'm right next to Ventura County, a ways from where you are. I would think there are enough N900 users to have an actual meeting somewhere in the LA area.

Why not try a video conference with someone if traveling is not cool. I can't do it but I am trying to help.

Or just post your specific problems here. You'd probably need a computer handy anyways to flash an overclock kernel or to pair the PS3 controller.

Ok so im still trying to overclock my phone and no luck. Im not the most tech savy person (former Iphone user). If someone can just help me get a little nudge in the right direction. Downtown L.a. or as far as riverside maybe or to aniheim.

i wood b drivn thru there sumtime middle of nxt week, i cant b much more specific than that yet. let me see how it shakes out ovr the nxt couple days n i will get bak 2 ya.

What about VNC and having someone walk you through the steps on Skype and watch you to make sure you don't make any mistakes using VNC.
