best flash supporting browser for the n900?
 

whats the fastest browser for flash sites such as earthcam? firefox isnt up to the job yet, and while the built in browser does work for most sites, it can still be very slow at times. are there any third party browsers for maemo 5 yet? thanks for any info.

Firefox is 3rd party. Daily build Fennec is faster for browsing.

You can try Chromium (google chrome) or Midori also. Both webkit based browsers.
But flash performance is going to be same or worse. Flash is browser independant.

i couldnt find a build of fennec to download..? no doubt the built in browser is probably the fastest in general, and it looks like ill have to wait for a flash update anyway if no other browser can improve flash performance. i dont think flash 10 is supported yet, as im reminded on many sites using the built in browser. thanks

if you are having trouble with flash 10 you could try the flash tweak plugin . it enables you to access flash videos which require flash10 but actually dont use any flash10 specific features - fennec will report as if it is flash10 compatible....:D
