(NIT)droid: Kernel Patch & Titans Power Kernel? Safe?

Hi,
I have been reading about getting Android running on my N900.
You need to patch the Kernel.

My question: Is this safe when using a customised kernel like: Titans Power Kernel? :D

I think NITdroid doesn't run with kernel-power at all.

It is possible to have kernel-power features like cifs, overclocking, monitor mode support and mobile hotspot working when dual booting maemo and NITdroid?

I was trying to find information but NITdroid topic is huge

You're right, it doesnt work. Newer NITDroid kernels have overclocking support, but thats it.

EDIT: Please remove this post, realized this thread is old...

LXP gives me a link to monitormode wireless driver compiled against stock kernel. It should work with NITdroid.
You need to swap /lib/modules/kernel_version/wl12xx.ko

Anyway cifs, and mobile hotspot are so usefull that it prevents me from trying nitdroid:(

Anyway cifs, and mobile hotspot are so useless for me.
But patches are available... You can always add anything you want to kernel.

Or hire someone who do it for you:)

This is a VERY old thread... Why didn't it stay dead?
Started and ended April.
Void - Let it die.

Before letting it die, can I undervolt using kernel-config profiles on dual boot kernel?
