Need help with Quake II
 

So can anyone tell me where do I put the files from my PC installation? And which files should I put there? I've tried searching the forums but to no avail..

When you have installed quake2 there is a folder created in /home/user/.quake2/baseq2/

In there you drop the maps.
They are called pak files.
On my edition there are 3 differenet pak files...

Yeah when you installed quake 2 on pc, find the pak files in baseq2 in quake dir. these 3 pak files goes to /home/user/.quake2/baseq2/

after thath it starts up fine.

To bad it is not possible to control it with the accelero and the it looks not as great than the quake 3 version

EDIT - just reinstalled it and it works! The framerate is crappy though.. is there a way to improve it?

Well, I tried just that and it didn't work.. still refuses to load.

Man, I totally forgot that I made this thread heh..
