SDK Installation problem
 

Hi,

I've been trying to install the Maemo SDK and I keep receiving error messages for unmet depencies... (I haven't forgotten to add the line from Nokia binary bits)

I believe I have done everything properly, I have prior experience of Debian systems.

I tried to install the SDK on my Ubuntu 10.04 32bits.

As anyone installed the SDK successfuly in the past few days?

Also, is there a recent ready to use Virtualbox image of the SDK for Qt4.6?

Hi,

Could you please be a bit more specific. Which dependencies are missing by doing what?

Are you using the gui installer or the manual instructions?


There will be soon a virtual image for the latest SDK. Please stay tuned on that.

I am using the manual instructions.

I'm not looking for someone to diagnose the problem, I just want to know if anyone as managed to install the SDK successfuly in the past few days, just to know if I am doing something wrong or if it's just a temporary issue.

Thanks for the infos about the VM I hope it will come soon, I can't wait to start and I feel fairly motivated right now, but I tend to have a short attention span due to work and the 2 websites I run ;)

Hi,

I installed maemo sdk using the GUI installer I faced some errors solved here but I still can't open xephyr emulator (the shortcut on the desktop)
