Great blog post about the state of the mobile industry from Ari Jaaksi tonight. No 'fanboyism' here - honest praise where it's due for competitors, and a good approach to a competitive industry. Great stuff.

Right up till the point where he said he was running PR1.2...

Well thats just because - as he mentioned - he's running an RC version of PR 1.2, and I don't think I'll surprise you if I say that he's not the only one running it...

All there's left is just wait PATIENTLY for it to be READY.

Well he states that it's a release candidate. Let's hope it gets released.

The sad bit is that it was a really, really good blog post. Quite spoilt.

RC != Beta

Release candidate means just that. It's a candidate for release. So unless some major bugs emerge, that is the version that will be released.
