Maemo flasher not 32bit on Mac

Hi,

not sure where to put this, if this is not the right place please move it. I have a first gen Macbook Pro running with an Intel Core Duo processor. Since it's a Core Duo only, it cannot run 64bit apps. My problem is, that the flasher-3.5 available to download for Mac is (despite the description) a 64bit binary (you can check yourself by issueing the following command from a terminal: file /usr/bin/flasher-3.5). Could somebody help me where I could get a 32bit version? Thanks in advance

Core 2 Duo processors are able to run x64 instructions, you should blame the operating system :p

You can also install Windows / Linux with bootcamp or in VMWare Fusion if you don't find an answer.

I know, but mine is a Core Duo, not a Core 2 Duo. Anyway, thanks for the tip.

Could anybody from Nokia respond to this? Most likely there aren't too many people facing this issue, as Core Duo machines were only sold for about a year, but despite that I'd like to be able to flash my phone from my laptop, and it's only ticking in a compiler option to compile a 32 bit binary.
