portrait mode in N900 ?
 

does the PR1.2 support the portrait mode in N900 (not just the browser )?
any solve for this , or it will be any update for that ?

Full portrait mode will never come to Maemo, period.

A glitch, the braek method was something I found while tinkering around with the SDK (I didn't even have the device)
Sadly it got copied many times and the source of method was lost ;)

biggest problems are dialogs (contact- etc...) plus possible input. but couple weeks developing @ spare time (and it hasn't been much because I've been really busy @work) and I'll soon have quick and dirty app for portait sms:ing. will post a new thread when it is available in extras-devel.

That has been troubling for me since December..

Release the fix already Nokia! Or open-source the offending application so I can do it my own damn self!

i just found that when you click on the on/off button there is a option menu show up,that menu support the portrait mode , try it
