why change transitions.ini?
i'm kinda new to all this and i have seen this particular operation mentioned so i was just wondering what it achieves?
also if anyone can give me any reasonably risk free tips to get the most out of my n900 it would be greatly appreciated:) |
Re: why change transitions.ini?
It changes transitions style and speed.

Re: why change transitions.ini?
Transitions.ini controls a few of the ways that the user-interface works, such as how fast things zoom between the task switcher, the app menu and the desktop, how far they zoom, and whether the background dims and blurs when they do so.
Since some of these effects are quite intensive on the phone, some people prefer to turn them off because it makes the effects less jerky and more pleasant, or speed them up to make the phone more responsive if they're doing loads of tasks often. Transitions.ini does not however affect kinetic scrolling speed, such as in the App Manager lists or Media Player, so it won't help there. Hope that helps. |
