Flashing fails at the Programming CMT stage - Help
 

Each time i try to flash my device since the last week and a half, i see that my flashing fails just before the "Programming CMT" Step. It goes over the "Erasing CMT" step twice and at the end of the second cycle, it fails. Is there any way i can get it to complete successfully without facing this problem?

I am attaching a dump of my flash so that it is easier to pin point the problem.

Which version of the flasher-utility do you use from which pc environment? What happens at the end of the flashing process? What state is your phone in right now?

I flash using the live CD of Ubuntu Linux. I am using the flasher utility for linux that is available at http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/maemo-d...5.2.2_i386.deb

The phone is right now in a usable state but it is not capable of fetching details like IMEI etc.
I have attached the dump from my last flash that i performed yesterday.
Since the flashing fails, the phone does not reboot on its own either.

Did you check the md5-sums of the flasher utility and the image file?
Well, after making a backup copy of your MyDocs folder to some save place on your pc, you might try to flash the eMMC image as well just to wait for it to make some difference?

Did you install the RC of PR1.2 and trying to go back to 1.1.1?

nope, i did not install PR 1.2.
What i posted earlier was different, concerned the IMEI. however, i am still stuck with the CMT issue! :(
