Renaming own threads?
 

Is it possible to allow users to rename their own threads? At the moment, only moderators can do so. I have seen a few situations recently where people have wished to rename their own threads but are not able to do so directly.

Not as far as I know, but that'd sure make an awesome enhancement request.

I agree, don't see any reason why they shouldn't be able to.

1) Create post named "Post your /signed here if you love the N900!"

2) Have 200 people /sign their names

3) Change post to be called "Post your /signed here if you hate the N900!"

Also, a limited number of changes could be nice to prevent abuse. Also, a "Was: Sign here if you love N900" could help also with only one rename.

At least, the ability to add [Solved] to the beginning could help.

I agree there is small scope for abuse, but I've seen this on other forums and it seems to work OK.
