Samsung Bada

Another competitor is making things even worse for Nokia?

Engadet

What do you think guys?

I remember back in 2008 there were 3-4 Symbian powered devices from Samsung but apparently they decided to move away and this new OS looks promising and SDK will attract developers

Where's the bada rox guy?

Or has he been replaced by Lumiaman?

Funny there isn't any Blackberry fans here, they must be too busy getting hip replacements.

I actually look forward to seeing what QNX on BB10 can bring to the table. I may be due for a hip replacement in the not too distant future but if it looks good, I'll get on board...

Re: Samsung Bada

Maybe Bada and Tizen for Samsung were just a backdoor if Google vs Oracle Java-trial would have ended sour.

Samsung Galaxy S3 sells extremely well and the recent lost case against Apple only really affects in USA where gesture patents are (ridiculously) valid. The design protection in many other countries doesn't affect S3, as it was purposely designed to be different (rounded corners).

Besides, Android Jelly Bean source code is available and Android seems to go further ahead to be like real Linux, so I wonder if I really need Tizen, Bada, Jolla, Meego anymore.
