Might be doable as with espeak-caller, and the .db file for the conversations can be read.

what for - i would be how it start reading it loud in bus. and it would be erotic sms from your gf

It could have an option to do that, might be useful driving. Say, start reading if a conversation is open and nothing else gets pushed for 10 seconds, or 30. Or an app that reads the last SMS/IM received.

You can also make it read to your sms when you receive it.. kinda like a ringtone. I wrote a thread about it (rather something similar)

you could get the sms message details by listening to dbus events and pipe it to the soundfile.
