flashlight APP
 

flashlight app has only worked the first few times since downloaded to my N900. Is there anything that I should change on the phone settings in order for it to work?
I tried uninstalling it and re installing to no avail.
Im a Noob with no know how on programing and such.

i also had this problem.after updationg to 0.37 it didnt show any more in the status menu.
I uninstalled id and reinstalled it (without updating it) and it still works..

just tried uninstalling it and reinstalling and it worked only once. Now it's currently not working again. I restarted the device and nothing. Man I wish I could get it to work flawlessly. What an annoying app,:mad: seems to have a mind of it's own

why not just uninstall and then install a previous version?

ok i will try, how do I do that ? everytime i go to download it, there is no option for downloading previous versions.

It only appears on the menu when the lens cover is open
Try opening the camera lens, close down the camera application and check the menu again.

Try scrolling to the bottom of menu.
Is flashlight listed in application
manager as installed?

yes it says installed.

Did you scroll to the bottom of the battery menu once the lens cover is opened.
On my screen the flashlight
button is not visible until scrolled
