Creating Archive files with Xarchiver?
from what i gathered so far everyone got the same problem of creating archive files using the Xarchiver... if anyone got a solution do tell it can be very helpful for packing images and sending them via mail :Petrovich: helps but when its over 5 files and inside different folders it becomes an issue.
thanks. |
Re: Creating Archive files with Xarchiver?
Xarchiver not working is due to BusyBox having crippled tools.
Anyways, a quick solution to your problem is tapping the title bar in Petrovich and hitting share. |

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BusyBox :)
It's not used a lot on PC based distributions, coreutils is used instead, you can install coreutils by typing apt-get install coreutils-gnu, binaries are prefixed with g so as to not conflict with BusyBox. I might have a look at Xarchiver soon (I am the maintainer after all <-- bah), and might change it to use coreutils |
