help " still " needed! device wont turn on :(
 

hello ,
i just reboot my n900 and it just wont turn on again ( the battery was full )
when i try to turn it on I get the Nokia logo backlit, and the indicator light illuminates, ( I get no flashing dots ) then fades. The screen goes dark and it stay off .
i tried to remove the battery then replace it again several times , i tried to turn it on while it charging from wall charger ( not usb cable ) but it seems nothing works . :(
Any clues what I need to do? :confused:

what was the last app u installed?perhaps a bug..but its fixable i think.. =)

i dont think its coz of the app. i installed it yesterday , but today i connected the device to my computer to transfer some songs and videos to it , after i unplugged the usb cable the files manger didnt open ( it just stuck and take me to the desktop ) so i rebooted my n900 , and it wont turn on now :(

If you reflash the rootfs and not the mmc, your songs should be safe.

this happened to me on the day I got mine. I had to reflash it via a PC. Was pretty damn scary. Hasn't happened since thank god.

thx guys , i had to reflesh the device and it works like a new one now .
