[REQUEST] App screenshots before download
 

is it possible to have screenshots before we download an app .. just like the Apple Store, moreover instead of screenshots can we have screen-videos. Small videos of the app doing its work..

Great suggestion.

In apple it works, because you pay for it. Developer has to show by screenshot and video as what they are selling.

Here most of them are free by people who want to contribute and help the maemo community grow, Some do it, some dont. But I think, not much of big deal as long as the community is helping each other.

I'll second this motion.... It'll be much easier for me to make a choice if the apps have some screenshots. I know that some apps have some homepages etc, but if there was a screenshot section in the app manager (like something I've seen in Blackberry Appworld), it'd be great.

The "screenshot-app-manager" IS http://maemo.org/downloads/Maemo5/
Just use that to browse and install, I really can't see the issue here.
In addition, you get the reviews, too.
