Display problems
1 Attachment(s)
I'm hoping someone has seen this problem before, I've got some strange marks appearing where characters should be on my screen, first noticed on the web browser but they are popping up all over the place now...
Any ideas what is causing them? |
Re: Display problems
do this
root dpkg --purge mp-fremantle-generic-pr dpkg --purge osso-pdf-viewer apt-get autoremove apt-get install osso-pdf-viewer halt halt |

I had something like this, only a reflash fixed it.. unfortunately it seems to have just started happening again on the "All" menu item (see attached) :(

Re: Display problems
I've seen this quite a few times. A reboot always fixes it for me.

Thanks for the suggestion... have rebooted and now all is well. It would seem that the IT approach of "cycling the power" does work quite a lot of the time! |
Re: Display problems
It's a known corruption issue (though I can't find a bug number for it right now). And a reboot fixes it...
