Use sound buttons when n900 is locked
Hey guys,
First of all keep on the good work! I love this forum and it help me in many ways with my N900. Second please excuse me if my English isn't perfect (I'm from The Netherlands). Now maybe you guys can help me with something please. If I lock my dives with the power bottom I am not abel to change the volume. I have to ulock the screen first. My question is: Is there a way or setting to change that. To be clearly I want to change my volume of my music without unlocking the screen. Is this possible? Could you guys help me with that? Thanks :) Vhisal |

Re: Use sound buttons when n900 is locked
there is a workaround until 1.2 see http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=45777 - follow the instructions and you'll be able to use the volume rocker switch after pressing the power button without unlocking the phone. This makes it quite easy to adjust volume even when the device is in your pocket.

If you don't feel like waiting around for PR1.2 to be released, you can re-enable this feature yourself in the meantime. See this post: http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p=545360&postcount=3 EDIT: LOL.. pigro's search-fu is stronger than mine :) |
