Problem with extras-devel in PR1.2 (helpdesk thread closed)
 

Last night I installed pr1.2/overclocked and did that tweak http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...&postcount=170

and WOW

its fast............

I woke up this morning with that feeling you get when you have just bought a new phone....

Anyway pr1.2 beta works a treat except the only problem I have found is my extras-devel repository is no longer working anymore (404ing). I have even tried readding it from the website (clicking the link) so it's not a typo... Have they taken this offline for devices running 1.2 beta to stop people from using it or something or is this a bug?? I can browse their fine on my pc..

Most of the catalogs are unavailable for me right now. That's nothing out of the ordinary tho. They're probably just updating something

It's not down because at the same time I tested I got my friend to test on his (running 1.1.1) and his worked fine.

Can anybody please confirm that the extras-devel repository works in pr1.2 if so I will reflash..

Otherwise when i flashed I didn't flash the emmc which may have something to do with it?

I can confirm extras-devel doesn't work for me. I'm using the leaked firmware.

Running PR1.2Leaked. Extras Devel has been working fine for the last severl days. Just updated App Manager, no problems.

I am running Titan's Kernel Power, don't know if that makes a difference or not.

im running the same leaked FW but no probs, i believe i already posted what i did to enable them, i also reflashe the leaked FW 3 times and still no probs in the repos

Deleting the extras-devel repository and reinstalling it solved it for me.

same for me, disable then enable, update then re-install apps

EDIT: a week after the Leaked FW was released i already re-flashed to it, until now, no problems,

my device is OC'd even @ 1.15GHz when playing VGBA with all settings (smooth images, render sound ETC) are active.

my cpu temp so far highest is 31ºC (maybe due to a cool climate) but the battery heat is a different story
