What does "helpdesk thread closed" mean?
 

The following thread was closed. Here's the title:

"Problem with extras-devel in PR1.2 (helpdesk thread closed)"

To my knowledge, it was never called the helpdesk thread -- but maybe it was!

Does it have a secret meaning known only to moderators?

I see why the thread was closed, I guess. It was seen as a duplicate or unnecessary thread.

I'm just not sure how I'm supposed to figure out what happened -- any new user who saw this thread would understand what went on? I doubt it.
