How can I change the FM transmitter freq. stepping?
Hi,
(Edit : this is about the transmitter) My N900 was purchased in USA, afaik the FM freq. stepping there dictates odd freq. only. I am not using it in the USA, and would like to add the odd freq. also. Example : Currently I can use 89.1/3/5/7... I want to use 89.2/4/6 also... I tried searching the forum, also found the file for the receiver, but not for transmitter. (Tried powersearch and normal search) Anyone knows how to do this? Cheers! |

FMTX Faker should work for this. 0.3 shouldn't **** up your ability to back up just as long as the file /etc/event.d/fmtx-faker doesn't exist.

I used to make it start too early and it was only thanks to lma it got sorted. Though I ended up making it not require to run on startup which saves some memory and doesn't mess anything up (at least here) :) |

Ok! Installed, and now I can choose those frequencies! I'll test it at home for real.
Thank you SIR! |
