N900 problem PLEASE HELP!
 

hello i recently bought a N900 from the carphone warehouse, however my charger is dodgy, i tried the adapter thing from an older nokia, it says it's charging but when i take it off the charger, the battery hadn't rose at all. the charger i had in the actual box, everytime i plug it in it says i have plugged my headphones in?! please help, is it a major issue or will it just pass???

Take it back to where you bought it and demand a replacement.

could be a faulty USB port too(*)...

As Venemo said, treat the whole box as DOA.. take it back for an instant replacement or refund.. no messing

*Some N900's suffered a loose USB port that actually came out of the phone.. For those that didn't fall out, the port often became intermittent and unreliable.. it's a strange hardware flaw which I think was being addresses by Nokia.. There are threads on here about it..

Why even post, if it was brand new out of the box and faulty I woulda marched right back up there lol.
