After flashing N900 python is missing!!
Hello....
After flashing the FIASCO/Rootfs image and eMMC Installing applications depend on python like jamendo, application manager display unable to install due to missing package which is "python 2.5-xml" Is that means flashing process error? :eek: so I must re-flash again the device??:confused: " FIASCO/Rootfs and eMMC images verified by MD5 and I follows strictly the instructions " Forgive me for my bad english Thank U All |

I have the same problem, except my firmware was updated through the automatic updater.

HI.........
With PR 1.1 I fixed that by installing PyQt full from extras With PR 1.2 i can't fix it but after installing some applications from extras it disappeared and now I can install applications depend on python like jamendo I don't know exactly which application in extras contain the missing "python 2.5-xml " Thank you ALL |

i was can't install abyword because of qt lib dependencies..
then i install PyQt4 Full install, (maemo extraz devel enabled) n then abyword can install succesfully.. maybe it can solve another qt lib dependencies installation problems.. |

I am wondering if some packages really depend to python2.5-xml... python-xml can be found in extras, but..
http://maemo.org/packages/view/python2.5-xml/ e: it means you have to add SDK repo to your app manager... |

hey guys, I am also having the same problem of installing the missing parts of python. i tried apt-get install, update,upgrade, and even fresh install after flashing and still cant get this to work. was there ever a resolution to this problem? I have spent several hours looking for answers but still no luck :/
