Overclocking via Titanīs kernel (noob)
Hi guys! First, sorry if iīm posting at the wrong place.
I have a question about the kernel frequencies in titanīs kernel. i followed the instructions in this post http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...&postcount=774 and i do overclocked my N900. But, i did this code: sudo gainroot kernel-config load ideal kernel-config limits 250 750 and my Conky shows a minimum of 500Mhz when the phone is idle. I wanted to maintain clocks between 125Mhz ~ 750Mhz (or 800, 900), but what i want is the minimum to be 125Mhz in order to save battery energy. So, What can i do? Load a different profile? config another limit? Another question is if i can enhance the maximum freq to 900Mhz with the same ideal profile iīm using? Cuz i tried to change my freq to 800Mhz via command "kernel-config limits 250 800" and phone tells its an invalid value. I rebooted my phone and the freqs came back to stock 250~600mhz. Is it normal? So, everytime i reboot my phone i have to overclock it again? Only to tell, iīm not a power user, but i know a bit of this. Thankyou |
