Flashed pr1.2 - Some apps cannot install
 

well just reflashed a few apps aren't installing with pr1.2 for me.

brainparty
extra plugins convo
openarena
gltron
link local xmpp
d1x rebirth

Do we just have to wait until they release new versions?

Any app that uses OpenGL ES (the 3D graphics library) won't work on the current PR1.2. See this thread:

This won't be a very useful post, I'm afraid, but at least there will be hope for you!!

Initially this morning when I flashed to PR1.2 Global I had trouble installing apps like Brain Party too. FeedingIt also wouldn't work, nor would the Extra Decoders Support, all of which had missing libraries that made it refuse to install.

However after some time fiddling, eventually I managed to get these to install, instead of just complaining that the library was missing, it decided it would download the missing library as part of the install process. I'm not sure if this is something I've set, or whether this is something Nokia have sorted out on the repositories, but I am sitting here now with working Brain Party, feedingIt and Extra Decoders Support as they have now magically installed ok.

Not very helpful to you, I know, but at least it IS possible... Unless this is all a dream and I've slipped into a deep sleep and I'm dreaming about missing libraries working on the N900 now - possible as I have an exam tomorrow and I'm bored of revising!
