Wine?
 

Any prospects of getting Wine working on the N800? I have TextAloud working under Ubuntu with Wine, and its text-to-speech is far better than any I've experienced under Linux itself, even though I purchased a Linux voice and I was testing TextAloud with the voices that come free. (Instructions for running TextAloud under Linux with Wine can be found at www.nextup.com in the user forum for TextAloud.)

No possibility whatsoever (look up "does WINE contain a PC emulator?")

Actually, that's not true - wine as a win32 compatibility *library* would be possible, but that's only useful for porting the source of an existing Windows application.
