Application stability problems with PR1.2
 

I've been seeing quite a few "Internal error: Application foo has unexpectedly closed" banners since my PR1.2 upgrade. I'd say before today I've seen that message less than half a dozen times over the past six month. Tonight I've seen that message more than half a dozen times over a span of about 3 hours! It's happening across various apps (Web, App Manager, Appwatch) multipe times, even after multiple reboots, and even multiple reflashes, including vanilla eMMC. On the plus side the OS proper seems to be remaining stable, so technically it's doing a good thing (isolating and killing the offending app and safely returning me to a stable desktop). I don't want to make this out to be a bigger deal than it really is, but something is definitely less than right.

As it wasn't me experiencing it, and I wouldn't know how to file a proper ticket with the few info I got, here just a small report and fix:
Contacts App crashes 2s after opening it.
Workaround: delete all contacts from SIM
