wi-fi/data connection icons not appearing??
 

i have a rather bizarre annoyance/bug since updating to pr1.2 - i have no wi-fi/3g data connection icons in the status bar! both are still functioning, so i can connect via my home wi-fi or O2 internet (uk) 3g access point with no problems, but the symbols showing that fact are no longer appearing! any ideas?!. the headphones and gps symbols still appear ok.

i have very little extras installed, and nothing from extras-devel or extras-testing, so it's not an experimental app causing the problem.

i did my upgrade OTA (i don't really feel comfortable trying to flash my n900 - i use win7 64-bit and all the other nokia apps - map loader, pc suite, etc are rather flaky on 64bit) . i didn't appear to have problems during the OTA upgrade, and haven't noticed any degradation in performance - browsing is as good as it was before and the auto-rotation works quickly. actually, i haven't really noticed that much difference in the update, other than i can now bluetooth any filetype from the file manager..

the missing icons is very annoying, as i've no idea if i have a data connection or not. it could be a problem when roaming..
