After PR1.2: N900 no longer boots.
I tried to do the PR1.2 update today. My phone now just cycles through showing the white backlit NOKIA logo, vibrating once, and going to backlit black. Over and over and over.
Help? -Robin |

Try reflashing

I got a similar problem with my update. A flash was the only way out.

Fantastic. And I'm on W7 64-bit, which apparently is the only OS that has real trouble with the flasher. -_-

Dual booting a *nix OS isn't hard these days.
Just a suggestion. |
Re: After PR1.2: N900 no longer boots.
I have the same problem, again.
First time had this problem when N900 was still in PR1.1.1 so had to download PR1.2 and flash for the first time, that was 25th. Today sygic crashed many times and I thought that I should reboot and so I did. Only this time turned the phone off and then on (usually boot trough healthcheck) and again it was in reboot loop as described in the first post. Any ideas can it be related to sygic? or what else? Now just flashed my phone and gonna take backup and flash the eMMC aswell. |
Re: After PR1.2: N900 no longer boots.
Had the same problem and solved reflashing manually (see http://www.maemofanatics.com/how-to-...ur-nokia-n900/) most likely was caused by insufficient space in rootfs partition while the update was running.
