Battery Issues on 1.2

Since i've upgraded and installed all my apps again, im finding my battery life dies VERY fast.

I have it charged via usb whilst in work, and this normally charges it, to 100% at some point but its not anymore... its just stopping it from discharging.

Something must be killing my battery, I have following installed, wondering if we can narrow down what app it might be:

3g/Dual Mode Applet
Angry Birds + Level Pack
Battery Graph
Conky
Conversations Widget
DCE Widget
Droid Fonts
eCoach
Enhanced Linux Kernel for power users + settings
Extra Decoders
Facebook Desktop Widget
" " Installer
" " Sharing Plugin
" " Widget and Photo Uploader
feedservice-plugin-fb-common
feedservice2
Firefox
Flashilght
FM Radio Player
FM Boost
FMMS
gPodder
Hermes
Leafpad
Mozilla Runtime
MSN Protocol Plugin
MyPaint
Ogg Support
Open SSH Client and Server
Prismic Wallpaper Manager
Rootsh
Simple FMTX Desktop Widget
SPB Brain Evolution
Tweak R

Sorry for the list, but it might help narrow down the problem?

I think I had the same problem with gPodder once.

I was thinking more that its got to be something that is running continually? For example all my programs are shut now, but its still not charging and battery still dies fast if i pull out the charger, could it be the overclocking or the SSH server?

Anyone know why there are so many facebook things installed too, I only installed the widget for desktop.

No its the Conversaions MSN Protocol Plugin, I have just removed it now just to see if it makes much difference as I dont really use it anyway, but thats not turned on anyway, nor skype, i've even turned my internet connection off and dropped to 2g.

Yesterday, I don't know if this was co-incidental or not but my battery was in free-fall and I think the culprit may have been the email widget but I would need to further test to verify that.

Hm... I do have the email widget on, but it doesn't work with Nokia Messaging so its just sitting there.. i'll try removing that and see if thats makes any difference.

... Hmm strangely enough, almost instantly i've seen a small battery improvement like the voltage levels have just dropped.. i'll keep an eye on it

I had similar problems. I re-flashed and also flashed the emmc. I did a restore of all my apps, except ogg support and cpu monitor ( I doubt that made a difference). Now I last chaged at 10pm last night and at 1pm today 1/4 battery has gone. That is with some heavy usage too.

So I would say try another flash and emmc flash, seems to have done the trick for me.

Open a terminal type 'top' and hit 'enter' to see what's eating CPU cycles. Idling should use about 2-4 percent total (it will fluctuate) even with 3G enabled.
