Python 2.4 apps needing "maintenance" to work under 2.5
 

From the python 2.5 release page at Python for maemo:

There's a couple of neat apps (maemochron, maemostars, ...) that require 2.4 and that don't work under 2.5. I have no programmng experience. How "easy" is it to do this work. How does one start? Would be a pity to let such good work become obsolete.

Got any advice?

I'd also like to see maemochron revived/working on n800. Any update on status?

any news on getting gnumeric to work?

it's asking for python 2.4... i have 2.5...

need this app to use an excel file on my n800...
