HELP PLS - Mplayer stopped working!!
 

hi everyone i have a problem and i would be very thankfull if anyone there can help me.
i have downloaded mplayer so i can watch a movie with subtitles cause the external subtitle support did not work for me.
everything was ok till i change encoding in mplayer config so i can see czech subtitle. after that mplayer stopped working!!!
i have tried uninstall and istall that again but it still not working...
i don't know what to do anymore... can anyone help me?

try this in xterm:
cp .mplayer/config.old .mplayer/config

cp: cannot stat '.mplayer/config.old': No such file or directory

:( what next??? :((

Try this then:
rm .mplayer/config

You might need to reinstall after that.

I never used subs myself but try to enable subs in the mplayer menu.
To open the menu click the tablet menu. go down to "Pref" and then "Subtitles".
I have seen movies with subs and disabled the subs, so I know mplayer supports this.
