Can't dl maemo 5
 

I keep getting an error saying that I don't have enough memory in the target area. This is BS i have 996mb for apps avail and like 10gb left on memory card. What can i do? has anyone else experienced this?!?!?

The root file system is what matters, and it's only 256MB when totally empty. I think you need something like 56M free on rootfs. See this wiki article for tips on how to make space:

Alternatively you can make a backup & flash the firmware, then restore the backup...
