No line Break in Replies since 1.2/automatic images

Is it just me or when you reply in Modest do you have to press enter a few times to get a line break then go back up to start typing? I don't remember having to do this before 1.2.

I have to do it every mail. Also, is there any chance or fix to download images automatically instead of having to press the icon every time? I get a lot of eBay mail, and al the reply buttons etc are image based, it really should be an option.

This appears to be you - just checked mine and everything works correctly.
Do you have cpumem-applet installed? Because it sounds to me like your cpu is busy doing something else if nothing happens when you press return, then have to move go back up to start typing

Yes I would like this option. I only download and view email through WiFi. I guess they do it this way to save people data packages/costs.

Sorry, what I mean is that it doesn't automatically insert a line break on the mail, the CPU is fine, it just leaves the cursor to start typing at the old text - the the left of "Original Message". It should drop a couple of blank lines in by default but doesn't.

It works for me too. The line breaks are where I've placed them.

Where do you read the mail with those missing?
If it is in Outlook then it might be the feature it has to remove line breaks because it thinks it's more readable.

Hope it helps

edit: scrap this. I do understand what you mean now. It would be nice, but it never existed.

Fair enough, I must have imagined they were there before. It should really insert them, every other client does. Might stick it in as a bug for 1.3, or some bright spark could write a quick app for it.
