Problems updating my N900 to the software released on the 26th of may.
 

Hi,

My names Asif and am from the UK. I've tried to update my phone to the new Maemo 5 but everytime i click it, it tells me to connect it to a pc suite and launch a app?? i've tried using Nokia PC Suite and clicking on the update button but nothing seems to work!!

Any Suggestions??

I suggest you clean out your rootf space and uninstall some incompatible apps. Otherwise please follow:

for information on how to do a full flashing installation.

Hi,

When i go to app manager on my phone and then updates. theres a new update on there called Maemo 5 but when i click that update it says:

"To update your device to this version of the operating system you must use thenokia software update application on your PC. Connect the device to your PC via a USB cable and launch the application"

doe that explain it?
