N800 video app
Hello,
I just hacked a simple video app, using: http://mdamt.net/node/174 http://www.maemo.org/platform/docs/h..._api_bora.html It's has only basic functionality, it can record sound and video, pause, restart, and save. The quality is poor, but still nice. The codex for encoding is made for small devices and doesn't work well for high resolution. I wanted to download the vmware image to recompile some gstreamer plugins, but it's a bittorrent and they bittorrent trackers on my network. :( you can download the app here: http://www.cauwe.org/N800/MovieRecorder You need python to run this program! |
Re: N800 video app
Any plans on packaging it into a .deb?

Well I'm testing it a bit before i package it.
I had some fun with it but it still doesn't work like i want. |
Re: N800 video app
It seems that the sound sync problem will be fixed a next gstreamer version (0.10.13 (not yet released))

Re: N800 video app
Greetings!
I'm just curious if your program is able to record video from command line? And if the download link will ever be fixed? :) |
