GNU Screen for Maemo 5
Hi all, I just got an N900 and so far it is amazing! I'm in the process of getting things setup and installing the software I need. The problem is that I cannot find the GNU screen utility. Is this tucked away in some obscure package somewhere? I can't imagine it's not available in binary form. Any guidance here would be appreciated.

It should be in this repository: http://wiki.maemo.org/User:Jebba/Etch.

Open the Application Manager. Then tap on Application Manager > Application Catalogs > New Now make an entry ( from post #3 ) that looks like this: http://media.share.ovi.com/m1/s/2335...703e43f58f.jpg Now save and completely exit the Application Manager. Open an x-terminal and enter: Code:
sudo gainroot You may need to modify the "sudo gainroot" depending on how you get a root shell. Take care. |
Re: GNU Screen for Maemo 5
prior to open a new topic I would like to ask here if anybody knows if the packages mon and/or openswan (ipsec) is available somewhere?
