broken python?
Hi All,
Firstly I am new to this board - so hi! Something seems to be seriously up with the python packages on the fremantle1.2 extras repository! Yesterday I reflashed my device with the latest RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.19-1.203.1_PR_COMBINED_203_ARM image and the latest RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin eMMC as it has become less stable since doing the latest OTA update. All seemed to go well until I tried to install anything from extra that requires python. If I use AccDisplay as an example I get the message 'Unable to install AccDisplay Some application packages required for the installation are missing.' Clicking details shows it is complaining about 'python2.5-minimal' First I SSH'ed on to the phone as root and did a 'dpkg --get-selections | grep python' and apt-get purged the python packages to ensure I have a clean slate.
