Cannot connect to Cisco LEAP Wifi network
Hi Everyone,
had my N800 for about a week now and it works great! Only problem is I can't get my N800 on my company network which uses Cisco LEAP for authentication. Can anyone help? Thanks! |
Re: Cannot connect to Cisco LEAP Wifi network
you're out of luck to the best of my knowledge.
There are no LEAP or EAP-FAST supplicants available for the N700 or N800 that I'm aware of. Best is to hope that an EAP-FAST supplicant is released, but I've heard nothing indicating that any are in development My work uses EAP-FAST. I either have to use the guest WLAN access, or my phone |
Re: Cannot connect to Cisco LEAP Wifi network
There's an EAP-related enhancement (bug #1017) in Bugzilla. Since Nokia will be prioritising enhancements according to votes and perceived demand (ie. comments against bug) my advice would be to vote for and comment against bug #1017 in order to increase the chance of EAP support in a future firmware. :)

Besides, I did some googling and found that there seems to be something called WPA supplicant which supposingly can work with LEAP http://maemo.org/pipermail/maemo-dev...st/005222.html |
