Has PR1.2 (GLOBAL) been offered as an update or must be manually flashed?
 

Sorry to be noobish but I have done some searching and can't find the answer.

I haven't been offered an automatic update to PR1.2 through the updater. Is that supposed to be like that? Is it only available through manually flashing at the moment?

If not then any idea what is wrong? I currently am (manually) flashed to the Global version. My Nokia System Software Updates catalogue uses:

Web address:
Distribution:
Components: [Blank]

Is that right? Thanks for the help guys.

Sometimes may be you don't have enough free space in the rootf, or may be conflict of libraries installed in your device. or you could be on yhe latest firmware for your country or carrier like Vodafone etc

Yes manual flashing is the only way.

I was offered PR1.2 via the updater. Freed up enough rootfs space by disabling all other repositories.

If you haven't been offered PR1.2, do you have PR1.1.1? I believe there's a Nokia repository that you need to have, or you will not get the offering.

Ok can I ask, anyone who has Global PR1.2, who updated through the application updater, could you tell me the repository it used to update, and the exact entries in your catalogue? If you don't know which one, could you tell me the ones that were active at the time? Thanks so much everyone!

(p.s. I have to update this way because my USB has become detatched and I can't have it replaced for a few weeks due to travel :/)

which version are you currently on? Do you see an update available.. but can't install it because it tells you to use a PC?

I am guessing it'd be the "Nokia System Software Updates" repository.

I am on version 1.1.1 and no, I am not offered an update :S
