Unlock N900 to ALL networks
 
My nokia n900 is on o2

Do i have to call up company etc to unlock it to all networks

Or is there a way I can do it quickly on phone
??

To prove that its really unlock, borrow your friend's sim card that belongs to different network. If you can get the signal, then your phone is unlocked and ready to be used in around the world.

I'm unsure which part of those three words you don't follow.
You asked how to unlock the phone to all networks - There is no unlocking process needed, as it's already unlocked (as in, it was never locked in the first place) as O2 don't lock any phones they supply, other than iPhones and some Blackberries, and afaik the N900 doesn't even support the possibility of operator locks in the first place.
