Sync all world cup fixtures to your n900 calender via BBC website
 

Just found a really useful option on BBC website, go to their world cup fixtures and choose download and you can sync all fixtures to your native N900 calender, gives all date, time group etc for each game and sets an alarm to remind you!! It says for google calenders, but works fine with N900...

Cool, I would be more happy being able to sync my calendar from outlook.

Ok, assuming that you already sync your N900 calendar with Google Calendar:

1) Go here and download the .ics file containing the fixtures: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...10/8677077.stm

2) Go to Google Calendar and go into Calendar Settings

3) Click on Import Calendar

4) When the dialogue window open select the .ics file you have just downloaded

5) Just choose import to append to your default calendar or choose a different calendar if you have setup more than one in Google.

6) Synchronise your N900 calendar if you wish to see it update straight away

it is updating my N900 calender which makes it annoying afterward ( reminding & beeping)

is there another way to do it without interfering with N900 Calender?

You dont need Google calendars at all. Just download the.ics file from here

Save to device N900(MyDocs).
Open file manager
Click on downloaded file
It will then ask you which Calendar to save to ie default N900 calendar or you can create a custom Worldcup calenar.
It will then inport dates/matches direct to calendar complete with timings and scheduled match coverage.

If you just download it then you'll need to redownload when the future fixtures are announced. If you add it via Google and sync it'll update itself.

There is an app called Erminig-NG, but I am finding it a challenge at the moment.
