Not working in UK on Be Broadband - been showing a blank page since yesterday (Friday 11 Jun). Tested with three different browsers on two different machines (FF & Opera on Win7, FF on Ubuntu) - all same, all blank.

Its fine from here. Actually, I never had any problems with the servers here. Except some days when it was DOSed from the many users requesting.

Please, please, please file bugs when you notice services or servers down!
Reporting here is not going to get them fixed. :) |
Re: Post here if one of maemo.org servers is down
GeneralAntilles,
Sorry but..hmm. Not too many people use bugzilla. In these kinds of problems itīs good to get response in couple of minutes. Iīm not going to waste people time by writing bug report that seems to be after all just my ISP problem. Also maemo.org FOR ME has been bit flaky. I have seen many times in different threads that people ask if repositories are down, wiki is down, talk is down etc. I think this kind of fast&quick way of cheking this kind of things from other users and also reporting to users who do not follow bugzilla which is rather technical and "hidden" place to many end users. IMO itīs also quite extreme to write bug report when only thing i would like to do is post single message with couple of keystrokes. Also i wonder what kind of automatic error reporting system maemo.org has? Do they have proxies around world pingin maemo.org servers and if error occurs automatic system sends message to admins. Or is this everything handled in manual? Also statistics about quality of server up-time from different continents would be quite nice. .edit and News is working again. |
