joikuspot connected but doesnt work
 
i have installed joikuspot and kept getting errors so reset the phone and retried and everything connected fine
the computer connected and was shown in joiku but when i try to load a webpage i get little responce from the joiku meters and the computer shows

i have turned off the firewall and antivirus and still doesnt work

Try this as root:

rmmod JoikuSpot_Bouncer
modprobe JoikuSpot_Bouncer

i did eventually find the modprobe JoikuSpot_Bouncer code and it worked

The first command removes a module used by JoikuSpot, the second re-inserts it.

This is a somewhat known issue with the older version of JoikuSpot, and/or Titan's power kernel. JoikuSpot released a new version (1.1.2) that should fix this. You may want to re-enable the JoikuSpot repository and get the latest update. :)

i currently have 1.2.2 is that what u meant? and i still have that problem but the work around does work so ill just keep using that

With kernel power you might need to unload and relolad this module from time to time with it breaks, that why you might need to remove it with rmmod first. In your case the module does not load at at at startup.

I've heard it's been updated but I am not sure if it solved the instability issue with this module. I use my own shell script to create a mobile hotspot so I don't use that battery eater anymore.
