Want wpa_supplicant? cisco LEAP and others.
 

First - see the caveats on http://wiki.maemo.org/Extras-devel - then add caveats about software downloaded from some random dudes website.

I compiled wpa_supplicant and friends.

It's at http://www.mauve.plus.com/wpabin.tar.gz

I have tested it only to the extent that it does not crash when you run it with no arguments from the commandline.

I have wifi network at my job
i can see it my Network connections - WIFIZEMLE
It is EAC type - PEAP
EAP Method EAP MSCHAPv2.

Please, can you help me to get connected to it?

@SpeedEvil: I've done that same thing too (compile wpa_supplicant) to enable EAP-FAST network (my office network use that). While it works, I never was able to make it play nice with the rest of the system (had to enable "dummy network" but some apps do not like that and I keep getting the "choose network" dialog...

Also the power usage was pretty bad when wifi is used through the wpa_supplicant program ... do you face these issues too?

@eLectron1k: PEAP/MSCHAPv2 should be available with the regular network manager. Is it with the wpa_supplicant software above that you're having trouble or with the default tool provided by the phone?
