Statusbar plugins do not show
Hello guys!
I have a problem. None of my apps that should show up in the statusbar actually do that. There is just the bunch of stuff that is there by default. No flashlight, no quick clip and so on. Does anybody know why this could be the case? |
Re: Statusbar plugins do not show
Do you have Powatool installed?
That application can enable/disable elements in the status menu That might cause it |
Re: Statusbar plugins do not show
Nope i didnt. But following your hint, I installed it, but in powatool, it does not show any plugins that should be in the statusbar and show in the application manager as installed.

Re: Statusbar plugins do not show
Flashlight will only be visible when the camera cover is open and once there are too many status icons, you'll have to scroll in order to see the custom ones - but I guess from your first post that your problem is a bit more serious?
Dumb question: Did you reboot lately? I once had a problem with my desktop (couldn't scroll to the others anymore) but after a simple reboot I've never again run into this problem. If that doesn't/didn't help, you might want to uninstall all the applications messing with the status menu one by one to see whether one of them is the actual culprit. |
Re: Statusbar plugins do not show
Interestingly, now that I reflashed again, flashlight and live focus show when camera cover is open. However, any other plugin still does not show (quick clip, fm booster, profilex). ****ed up.

Quick Clip also does not show up in status bar. My N900 has been rebooted several since Quick Clip is installed. I just checked Powatool, Quick Clip was not in the list.
