turn off fully charged green LED to save battery
When the n900 is fully charged, it switches to battery. During this time, the green light is sucking up juice before you unplug
edit /etc/mce.ini to turn the fully charged light off after 10 seconds change the 3rd parameter to 10 PatternBatteryFull=40;4;10;g;9d...... I notice a few percent savings at the end of the day... |
Re: turn off fully charged green LED to save battery
I particularly changed it to a small blink followed by a interval, then repeat, so it stays lit only a small fraction of the time without losing the functionality.
Also, I recomment http://maemo.org/downloads/product/M...attern-editor/ as an alternative to manual editing system files for those who prefer a GUI. |
