Stolen 770 in South Florida
 

If you find someone selling an used 770 bare, without charger, stand, headphone, or the other stuff that came with it, please leave me a PM.

Some aszhole in So. Florida broke into my car last week and stole my 770 among other things.

Sorry to hear about your loss, that sucks. Hopefully you can claim on your insurance (home contents might cover it?) and upgrade to a N800!

You might try the local craigslist for your area, do ebay searches, check local pawn shops, etc.

If you still have the box, you can use the MAC address to verify ownership if you find one. Maybe Nokia will let the authorities know when some one types in that MAC to download firmware if they figure out how to use it.

Thanks guys. No insurance unfortunately.

I've checked ebay but forgot craigslist, thanks for the reminder. The hard part is that I was in Florida on vacation, so I'll have to be real lucky to catch the thief. Unless his name is espergreen ;)

And thanks mwiktowy, it is a great idea. I think I still have the box in the garage somewhere.
