Webex
The N800 could theoretically be a great Webex client with the internet connectivity and media capabilities, but apparently the browser is not compatible. Has anyone figured out or built code to communicate with Webex?

Re: Webex
I tried installing Jalimo and then running the webex client, but still no go. Anyone have any better luck, or find a java solution for maemo that supports more stuff?

Re: Webex
You might want to look into the vnc client (either in normal mode, or in listen mode). UltraVNC provides a 'single click' configuration, that makes it perfect for a support based environment. In my department, I have a 'Uvnc single click' exe on the website. All the customer does is downloads the small exe, and runs it, and it connects to my vnc client (tablet or otherwise).
http://www.uvnc.com/addons/singleclick.html edit: looks like I was mistaken. I can't seem to find the command line switch to put the vncviewer into listen mode. (vncviewer - listen doesn't appear to work) |
Re: Webex
The vncviewer commonly available for the tablets is somewhat stripped down. I think there's a straight-up compile somewhere, which works (probably including -listen), but doesn't have helpful keymappings (full-screen toggle, OSK, etc.). If you can't find that, or it's not suitable, you can always build it yourself... ;)
